A Fresh Splash – New Launch & Market Highlights
This past Saturday at the Ft. Clark farmers and artisans market was a big one for Wild Roots! I officially launched my new line of shave soaps in both pucks and tins, and debuted a companion product that’s been in the works for a while—my handcrafted aftershave splash.
If you stopped by the booth, you likely saw the buzz around it. This new splash is light, refreshing, and soothes freshly shaved skin without the burn of traditional aftershaves. The current formula features:
Witch hazel – to tone and calm the skin
Aloe vera gel – for a cool, soothing touch
Vegetable glycerin – to help lock in moisture
Essential oils - for a light scent
While the witch hazel brings a small amount of alcohol to the mix, I’m already testing a new version that will be completely alcohol-free—perfect for even the most sensitive skin.
The texture is somewhere between a splash and a serum: light enough that it could be used in a spray bottle, but I’ve chosen to package it in an easy-to-use pump bottle for more control with where it is applied - think, not in the eyes. The current offering is an 8 oz plastic bottle, with a 4 oz glass version coming soon—a more compact and giftable option with a touch of luxury.
Available in Three Signature Scents
These pair with my shave soaps and will eventually be available across the full men’s grooming line:
Verge – Crisp and green, with a vibrant, outdoorsy energy
Polar Blast – A cool, bracing blend that leaves skin feeling awakened
Cedar Creek – A rich, grounding scent inspired by forest trails and clean wood
Whether you're upgrading your shaving routine or looking for a clean, post-cleansing splash, this blend is designed to leave skin calm, soft, and lightly scented.
